The board of Cappella Amsterdam is pleased to announce that Judith van Dongen and Maurits Musch joined the board on 17 November 2025. Judith van Dongen takes on the role of secretary, succeeding Martine Wouters.

Judith van Dongen works as secretary-director at ABDTOPConsult, part of the Dutch central government. In her work she supports the senior civil service and political leadership of the government on strategic and complex issues. With her broad experience in the public domain and her expertise in governance processes and organisational design, she brings valuable insights to Cappella Amsterdam.

Over Maurits Musch
Maurits Musch has a long track record in the cultural sector. He previously worked as senior relationship manager at the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and as head of Development, Communications and Media at Internationaal Theater Amsterdam. From 1 January 2026 he serves as director of the Prinses Christina Concours. He studied singing at Codarts Rotterdam and musicology at the University of Amsterdam. Maurits combines an artistic background with extensive experience in cultural management, strategy, and fundraising
