After the resounding success of a few years ago, Cappella Amsterdam once again joins forces with the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra for one of the greatest works in the classical repertoire: Mozart’s Requiem. The same musical expression and depth can also be found in the other works on this programme.

The programme creates connections between Ravel’s masterpieces and the music of his contemporaries, such as Fauré and Poulenc. There is also room for more contemporary works, including Ešenvalds’ mesmerizing Stars, and you’ll hear how French elegance and American vibrancy come together.

Stravinsky’s work is infused with rhythm, energy, and innovation—music that is not only heard but also felt and moved. In this programme, Cappella Amsterdam, New European Ensemble, and conductor Daniel Reuss bring Stravinsky’s unmistakable musical language to life, together with eight dancers from Zero Dance Theatre under the direction of choreographer Denden Karadeniz.
