Bequests to Cappella Amsterdam
You probably landed on this web page because, like us, you have a heart for choral music. The Cappella Amsterdam Foundation wants to touch the listeners of today but also those of the future with choral music. You can help us do this by including Stichting Cappella Amsterdam in your will. We heartily appreciate any donation, small or large.
Including Cappella Amsterdam in your will is a wonderful way to pass on choral music to future generations.
If you decide to bequeath to Stichting Cappella Amsterdam, you can document this in a will. You can easily arrange this at the notary. You decide what is in your will and to whom you want to bequeath: partner, family, a dear friend and/or charity. The notary can advise you on this, and also drafts the final will. Of course, you can change your estate at any time.
Would you like to bequeath to Stichting Cappella Amsterdam and include it in your will? In doing so, do you want to give a specific purpose to your estate? Of course, we are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding Cappella Amsterdam. Please contact us especially so you can choose a suitable target, if desired, with the artistic director Daniel Reuss.
The possibilities
With your support, you contribute in a very personal way to the goals and future of Stichting Cappella Amsterdam. If you are considering including Stichting Cappella Amsterdam in your will, there are three possibilities:
Inheritance
With an inheritance, you appoint Stichting Cappella Amsterdam as heir. You then leave all or part of your estate to the foundation. You can make Stichting Cappella Amsterdam an heir alongside others, or name it as your sole heir. If you have children, they can still claim their legal inheritance share (the legitimate share) even in the latter case.
Bequest
You can also include in your will a bequest in favor of Stichting Cappella Amsterdam. A bequest means that the foundation receives a certain amount or asset from your estate. You can include multiple bequests in your will.
Named fund
If you want to support a specific goal of the Cappella Amsterdam Foundation, for example education, training or research, you can also place your bequest or legacy in a named fund in your will. You then decide the name of the fund and on which objective Stichting Cappella Amsterdam may spend your bequeathed assets. The minimum amount for a registered fund is € 50,000,-.
Good to know
Stichting Cappella Amsterdam is a cultural Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling (ANBI). As a result, as an individual, you have several opportunities to deduct donations to Stichting Cappella Amsterdam from your income tax. Stichting Cappella Amsterdam itself is exempt from paying inheritance and gift taxes. Therefore, your bequest or legacy will entirely benefit Cappella Amsterdam.
