background
In this poetic performance we follow the dreamy Icarus, who is determined to bring the moon down to earth. Together with his friends he experiences an exciting adventure full of unexpected challenges. A story about friendship and loneliness, boundless dreams and a daring flight beyond the boundaries of fantasy.
A sixteen-voice choir, three soloists and instrumentalists give voice to friends and unexpected helpers, as Icarus chases his dreams.
For children aged 8 and up and their parents who love grand stories, vivid imagination and fantastic music. Dare to dive in, to run, to laugh and to dream: a performance that fully immerses you in the world of Icarus and his friends.
Freely adapted from the book Rebel met Vleugels by Marcel Rooijaards.
