mission & vision
Missie & visie
The professional chamber choir Cappella Amsterdam brings classical choral music to life, both independently and in collaboration with others. We are keenly aware that what we do touches the core of humanity: singing is a universal language. Cappella Amsterdam keeps this language and the rich choral canon alive at the highest level and gives choral music its rightful place in the 21st century.
In concrete terms, this means that on the one hand, we continue our excellent performance practice, while on the other hand, we embrace innovation on many fronts. The choir uses its artistry, expertise, and belief in its mission to connect and build bridges.
