background
Samuel Beckett: a literary giant, writer of tragicomic plays, poetry, and novels, but also an icon of absurdism and the author of stark, stripped-down poems. He was a great lover of music but rarely collaborated with composers. One exception, however, was the American Morton Feldman. The words of Beckett and the notes of Feldman run as a thread through Words & Music on Saturday, Jan. 11 and Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020.
