background
Cappella Amsterdam is celebrating its 50th anniversary. It is indeed a golden moment to reflect on.
Over the past five decades, Cappella Amsterdam has grown into an internationally acclaimed chamber choir. With a sound that enchants and amazes, Cappella Amsterdam showcases the richness of choral repertoire, from the early Middle Ages to the present day.
On Saturday evening, July 2, Cappella Amsterdam will present a festive jubilee concert at the Beurs van Berlage, conducted by chief conductor Daniel Reuss. From Johann Sebastian Bach to Arvo Pärt and David Lang, the singers of Cappella Amsterdam repeatedly demonstrate their mastery of the diversity of choral music at its core.
