review
Jan. 26, Opus Klassiek
“The three-movement Piano Concerto from 1998 is a masterpiece, featuring the distinctive characteristics of Klaas de Vries’s musical language, which balances structure and expression, is highly chromatic, with extremely refined harmonic interactions and a wealth of tonal colors, alongside an exceptionally keen ear for detail.” – Aart van der Wal
